The Oxford Pakistan Society is comprised of a versatile and multi-faceted group of students and former students brought together by a shared love for Pakistan. The Society believes firmly in the importance of promoting, preserving and celebrating Pakistan's gloriously rich cultural life, seeking to give as many people as possible a taste of all it has to offer to the world. Equally, we encourage Pakistanis new to the UK to meet others in a similar position, enabling a mutual enrichment through exchanged experience. As such the society serves as a meeting-point between Pakistan and the UK, and the Pakistani community.

In order to facilitate these goals, a colourful range of events are organised and widely advertised, including hugely popular buffet dinners, mushairas with poets from all over the UK, topical lectures and cultural events.
